Missing a line or a small detail during a group viewing raises an awkward, familiar question: is it fair to ask everyone to rewind for one person's benefit, or should that single missed moment simply be let go entirely in favour of keeping the group's overall momentum and shared viewing rhythm intact and uninterrupted.
Most groups develop an informal, unspoken threshold for this, readily rewinding for a genuinely important plot point that several people clearly missed, while quietly letting smaller, less consequential moments simply pass by without comment or complaint from anyone actually present in the room at that particular passing time.
