Not every fandom is large or loud, and smaller, quieter fandoms deserve genuine support too, even though they rarely attract the same volume of attention, art or discussion that a much larger, more prominent community naturally generates simply through sheer size and existing momentum built up steadily over time.
Supporting a small fandom might mean creating something for it despite a limited audience, patiently answering a newcomer's question in a quiet space, or simply continuing to show up consistently even when a community feels genuinely small and easy for casual outsiders to overlook entirely at first, passing glance.
Small fandoms often develop a particular closeness precisely because of their limited size, since every member's contribution is genuinely noticed and appreciated rather than lost in a much larger crowd. That intimacy is its own distinct, quiet reward for anyone genuinely willing to stay, contribute and genuinely support it over the years.
